The eBook That Made Online Dating Easy

The world of online dating is rapidly evolving and with it, the rules as well. DatingSite.org is proud to be a leader is guiding people through their online dating endeavors.

(PRWEB) June 21, 2011

With one in four relationships starting online and eHarmony.com boasting responsibility for two percent of all marriages in the U.S., the rapid and sustained increase in online dating insinuates that it is indeed the future of match making. So it would be wise to learn the ins and outs of the online dating culture before one puts their heart on the line and jumps in head first, right? DatingSite.org is excited to unveil its rules of online dating ebook, "Love, Lust and Relationships," which is comprised of more than two years’ worth of in-field research as a free resource for those looking to get pierced by Cupid’s arrow.

“I wanted to give people something that was practical in preparing them for online dating,” said J. Roberts, Editor in Chief of DatingSite.org. “Everyone could use a little advice when it comes to online dating and we take pride in helping people with this central aspect of life.”

DatingSite.org is not a dating service, but rather informs people of the myriad of choices when it comes to online dating. Utilizing insider knowledge and citing up-to-date statistical data, DatingSite.org was able to compile the definitive source for online dating.

There are all sorts of major and minor rules that can have a huge impact on the success rate of a online dater. For instance, a camera’s flash adds approximately seven years to one's perceived age in a profile photo, so naturally it should be avoided. Or how about that the rules of smiling and recommended degree of eye contact are radically different for men than they are for women? And that’s just the tip of the iceberg…

Each popular dating site has its own perks and quirks, and though one site might yield a fantastic result for one person, it could be disastrous to assume that it would do the same for everyone. Only after exploring the pros and cons of each site will someone be informed enough to make the most of the experience and realize your desires.

As online dating services are constantly refining their methods of match making, their superiority over “hitting the bars” is truly shining through. So whether someone is a sorrowful single or an unfulfilled serial dater, there isn’t a better time than now to learn the game with this free ebook and use it to one's advantage!

DatingSite.org is a comprehensive resource for those looking into utilizing dating sites. Starting in 2009, DatingSite.org has been a leader in providing free advice on dating and relationships through the first-hand experience of its writers.

Why eBooks Are The Most Overlooked Path To Online Prosperity

The ebook revolution is here! The Internet now makes it

possible to come up with an idea, turn it into an ebook,

distribute it over the Internet, and start making money - all

in 30 days or less. In the offline world, 30 days wouldn't

typically even be long enough to start getting rejection letters

back from publishers. We say this with confidence because

we have both gone from book idea to book sales in a matter of

weeks - not once, but many times. Between us, we have 10 ebooks currently selling on the Net. Several of our books have brought us five figures in income. Jim holds the record between us with one release that made an astounding $43,000 in 30 days.

Here are two discouraging myths you should be aware of:

Myth #1 - It takes a lot of money to promote an ebook.

Fact: It doesn't. Despite what anyone says to the contrary,

online information publishing is still the fastest, cheapest

and easiest way for the "little" guy to earn a nice living

online with virtually no risk and very little money (less than

$100).

Myth #2: You have to be a writer to make money with ebooks.

Fact: You don't have to be a "writer" in order to create a best

selling ebook - and it often helps if you're not!

Maybe you've heard that ebooks don't sell. That's not entirely a

myth; in a way, that's true. What sells in bookstores will

generally not sell well on the Internet. Although author

J.K. Rowling has sold more than 100 million copies of her "Harry

Potter" books worldwide, it's unlikely she would do well selling

her stories in ebook form.

But ebooks sell like hotcakes when they contain PRACTICAL information in ready-to-use form. Not pages of pages of long, flowing prose like you find at Borders and Barnes and Noble. On the Net, people buy step-by-step, cut-to-the-chase information they can use to solve problems in their everyday lives.

eBooks on how to negotiate the best price on a car, how to sell

your home without paying a real estate agent, how to build muscle mass quickly, and other narrowly focused topics that solve a problem, are selling VERY well - at this very moment!

Why is this so? Because the main reason people are online in the first place is to find information - 9 times out of 10, according to a landmark survey.

So if you can interest people in extending their search past

looking for free information into purchasing an information-rich,

well-organized, ready-made SOLUTION to a pressing problem, you can sell ebooks... You can sell a LOT of them.

Jim has sold more than 5,000 ebooks in the last 10 months.

David's publishers have asked him not to reveal how many ebooks he's sold, but just type his first and last name into Google and you'll find more than 20,000 Web pages where his name appears. The vast majority of those pages have something to do with one of his ebooks.

One more thing: It doesn't need to take very long to write an

ebook. Why? Because many "book books" are like encyclopedias in prose form - they cover everything imaginable about the topic.

eBooks aren't like that. They go right to the meat of what people need to know to solve a problem. They have information about everything necessary to solve a problem, but no "filler"

information that takes so long to write - and takes readers so

long to sift through.

Here are four mistakes ebook authors make that typically reduce or prevent sales:

1. They don't write to a specific, target audience.

The biggest mistake most ebook authors make is they don't clearly define, identify and visualize who they are selling their ebook to. On the Web, to be successful, you must write to a specific group of people who have specific interests. Make sure that you know exactly who is going to buy your ebook, and where you can find them online.

2. They don't automate as many of their business activities as

possible. Selling ebooks, though it is highly profitable, is not

a business where you make hundreds of dollars per sale.

Automate everything you can - credit card processing, ebook

delivery, as much technical support as possible.

3. They don't have a compelling title for their ebook.

Use words that convey the benefit of what's in the ebook, as

well as words your audience is familiar with.

A bad title for an ebook: "Online Marketing for Newbies." A good

title for the same ebook: "97 Ways to Promote Your Website - No Experience Required."

4. They try to cover too much ground.

Many ebook authors convey a lot of information but don't cover

anything in-depth. As a result, they never fully explain anything

in enough detail to provide any useful value to their readers.

As long as you are aware of these mistakes and put in a little

effort to avoid them, your chances of success are VERY high.

So, if you know a lot about something - or even if you don't -

you can put together and market an ebook quickly, and make a lot of money quickly as well. The large traditional publishers may

never understand or agree with this, but that's actually to your

benefit. It keeps the playing field level and offers you, the entr

epreneurial author, unlimited opportunities for many years to come.

Make Your Way to an Online Ebook Shop

The first decade of the current century has seen a remarkable paradigm shift in the way the printed word has changed. The pyramid of media hierarchy now has a new leader, namely the Internet. Welcome to the Digital Age! While reading the printed word was among the most common pastimes even a few years ago, with the advent of portable ebook readers, such as the Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony Reader, and the iPad, this has now been replaced by ebooks. There has been a growing concern among educators as to how reading is on the decline, and how it affects the knowledge of middle school and high school children. Just like any other industry in the online world, the ebook industry has a plethora of ebook shops to find virtually anything you desire. Literacy experts have opined that the choices available at ebook shops can help children to have varied and deep knowledge, and studies suggest more and more children are becoming involved in the online reading community. Online reading can tune them to the needs of the modern day. Isn't it a wonderful choice to replace television or the gaming console with online reading? There has been a dynamic shift even amongst adults, in their attitudes towards books. Ebooks are the page turners today to bring them back to old habits!

Today everybody, young and old, should familiarize themselves with the growing ebook industry. Ebooks and ebook readers provide substantial benefits over traditional reading. Ebooks cut down on the use of paper, as advocated by environmental enthusiasts. There are no fixed timings for study. There is no question of waiting-time for new editions. There is no transportation to the ebook shop. The books at an ebook shop can be downloaded instantly, sometimes for free, sometimes for a fee. Not just that, the online version of books are typically much cheaper, because publication houses save on their print and paper machinery, the benefits of which are passed on to customers. Further, the reach of the ebook shop is immense, allowing a person living in Australia to source out to a publication house in Chicago.

The newest craze in the online ebook world is what are called ebook libraries, or ebook packages. An ebook package is something out of the ordinary. It consists of a large number of ebooks bundled together that are not easily available at one single place. So instead of hunting down and purchasing, say 100 literary classics, you can purchase an ebook package which contains all these ebooks bundled together. These ebook libraries typically offer a substantial savings, and are usually offered in a variety of formats to suit your brand of ebook reader. Large companies, such as Amazon or Barnes & Noble, tend to not carry these ebook libraries. If you want to purchase one of these libraries, you will have to search out independent ebook shops. These independent ebook shops typically package the ebook libraries by genre, and have a wide selection of genres.

Plunge into the world of fiction, non-fiction, science and history! You can enjoy an outstanding reading experience without having to venture out to the library or mall. The online world of reading beckons one and all with open hands. Indeed, the children of tomorrow have the privilege to grow up with ebooks. Ebooks are the best option; and the portable ebook reader, the best buddy!

Jim L. Thomas suggests you visit the Green eBook Shop to peruse the large selection of free ebooks and to have a look at the collection of ebook libraries for your portable ebook reader.

Selling eBooks Online - How to Sell Downloadable Products

Selling eBooks Online and Eliminating the Monthly Expenses

Selling eBooks online doesn't have to be as discouraging as it appears. Yes, you too, the non-technical seller can sell your own ebook products online without the help of any external companies. You don't need to pay monthly fees to have your downloadable ebooks sold for you. You can start selling ebooks right from your own server.

Let me give you an overview of how the business of selling eBooks online works.

You see, when customers purchase an ebook online, they want it ASAP, like, right now! And the only way most businesses that sell ebooks deal with this is to pay an external online company to help them provide the instantaneous delivery of the downloadable product. The company that they hire for this job will create a process in which the eBook product being sold is automatically made available for the customer, upon payment.

But here's where the problem lies.

The Deception

These online companies know the vulnerability involved in the selling of ebook downloads. They know most people aren't programmers and therefore will take advantage of that weakness by instituting ridiculous payment plans that are woefully unnecessary. They are fully aware that you lack in knowledge as to the workings of the back-end process of web programming, and as a result are at the mercy of their whims. Therefore, they will charge you an arm and a leg for something they shouldn't be charging you for.

Instead of having you pay just one flat and final fee for selling your eBooks, they'll tantalize you with colorful reasons as to why you should continue to pay them monthly for it. Other companies are even bold enough to take a percentage of every eBook sale that you make using their service, in addition to the monthly payments they charge. Since you don't know any better, you consider these payments or deductions the "cost of doing business" when in reality, it is not. It is the cost of being uninformed.

The Goal and The Reality

Now, I don't know about you, but most people I know, when they go online to start selling eBooks, they want to make as much money as possible. And if you're like those other suckers who are actually shelling out money on a monthly basis for these ripoff websites to sell your eBook products for you, let this be an eye-opening warning:

You Don't Have to Do That! It is a Complete Waste of Money!

Yes, I know that some of you prefer others to sell your eBook products for you because you have absolutely no programming skills or knowledge and you prefer someone else to do the work for you. I understand that. But, you still are being ripped off. If you don't care to save or keep most of the purchase price that a customer pays for your downloadable ebook products, then, this eBook article is definitely NOT for you.

My Story

You see, there was a time I use to dream about being able to automatically sell my own eBooks for free. But back then, it was just a dream, a wish, a fantasy. I had many eBooks to sell, but was discouraged by the amount of work I discovered was necessary in order to make that happen.

PayPal, the most trusted payment system, unfortunately, doesn't provide a simple way for its users/merchants to sell eBooks (or any downloadable file for that matter). And being the extremely busy person that I am, I gave up trying to figure out how to do it on my own. I still was able to sell my eBooks online, but I had no choice but to do so manually, which was painstakingly time consuming.

To provide my customers with the INSTANT eBook download that I had promised them on my "Buy Now" page, I had to stay glued to the computer and watch for new orders. When the new eBook orders arrived, I had to quickly email each customer their product one by one. This was unimaginably cumbersome, as I'm sure you can already imagine.

After months of doing this, I realized if I am to continue selling ebooks online, I was going to have to figure out something different, efficient and make it free. I just simply could not continue to manually email my customers their eBook products anymore since sales were rapidly increasing and it would have been a gargantuan task for one person.

I had no choice but to think very hard about this. I dug deep into my seasoned knowledge of programming and decided to write my own eBook selling PHP utility. It took a few weeks to design, write and finish the code for it but when it was completed, it was indeed a thing of beauty. It worked perfectly. It was able to seamlessly sell my eBooks for me without requiring that I stayed glued to the computer.

How the PHP utility Works

After each payment is confirmed with PayPal, the PHP program I wrote does three very important things:

1. It verifies that a customer has made a payment - verifies Payment is successful.

2. After payment verification, it automatically makes the eBook product that the customer paid for available for the customer to download immediately after payment (within 10 seconds).

3. In addition to the above, this program sends me an informational email about the eBook order so that I'm aware of every eBook transaction initiated by customers and so that I have a record of them all.

The information I get after each new eBook order are:

(a). Customer's Full Name

(b). Customer's Email Address

(c). Name of product that was purchased by customer

(d). Receipt number of the product (if PayPal provides one)

(e). Date and Time of Day that the Product was Purchased

This is all the information any merchant would need to know about his or her eBook products for future references.

The Purpose

Like you, all I want to do is sell eBooks. I hate complexities. I hate third party shenanigans and I hate having to pay someone else monthly fees or allowing them to take a percentage of every sale that I make with my eBooks. I hate it all and this program took care of those concerns for me.

If you DO NOT want to pay reoccurring fees for some outside website to sell your eBook products for you, then, writing your own code, or getting a PHP programmer to write a code for you, for one flat fee, is the way to go.

It doesn't matter if you have 1 or 300 eBook products to sell. With that one PHP code, after you obtain it, you can sell an unlimited amount of eBook products and NEVER have to worry about any other additional payments...EVER!

For an automated code that will sell your ebook products for you without you needing to pay any re-occurring monthly fees at all, visit the page below:

The first thing you may want to consider is writing your own ebook and selling it online. There are plenty of topics on which you can write an ebook, just pick one that you are suited for. Ebooks are not that difficult to write and they do not take that long to write one. You can write an ebook in one day. Many ebooks are only about 25 pages. Some ebooks are about 200 pages. Just write about something that you already know. Think about your occupation or the hobbies that you have and you will realize that you are close to an expert on that subject.
